It have a TP-120 Nexus downlead and it lets you use in-ear mic while hooking to conventional push-to-talks

Possibly defective? For some reason when I transmit it will just make really loud screeching sound on the receiving radios. The sound quality was also really bad.

You can still use it as a range headset.
